SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey continues to believe he'll play football this season, although it will not be Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
"I have no doubts," Dorsey said Friday after being declared out, along with tackle Anthony Davis, who continues to experience post-concussion symptoms. "We'll see how it goes. We have to work with it."
Jonathan Martin is set to make his sixth start of the season at right tackle in Davis' place.

Linebacker Aldon Smith, who returned from a nine-game suspension to play the majority of the 49ers' victory over the Giants on Sunday, said he's ready for his first home game of the year.
Smith said he's preparing for the athleticism of Redskins' quarterback Robert Griffin III (RG3) this weekend.
