A 34-year-old business woman was yesterday placed on $300,000 bail, by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson for simple larceny and wrongful confinement charges. She shared the latter charge with one Dexter Lynch. The accused, of Lot 67 Barr Street, Albouystown, pleaded not guilty to the charges. It is alleged that on July 13, the businesswoman, Sharon Narine,NFL Jerseys 2018, stole a quantity of articles worth $1.4 million from Andel Lynch.Narine, along with Dexter Lynch, was also charged for the wrongful confinement of Andel Lynch, in the Prashad Nagar area. Dexter Lynch did not appear in court and Andel was also a no show.As far as reports go, Andel Lynch had some relationship with the defendants, and had asked Narine for her help.Andel Lynch and his wife were staying at the home of the accused. The attorney defending Narine told the court that he could not understand how it was that Lynch claims that Narine held him against his will, when his wife was in the very same house at her own free will. The attorney further stated that it was Narine that was helping Andel Lynch and that the information surrounding the case was turned around, making Narine look like the perpetrator.“The virtual complainant cannot look Narine in the eyes and make these accusations”. The virtual complainant himself had many enemies and was hiding for his life, the lawyer told the court. The accused will return to court on September 15. |
