The woman further said that her attacker even asked her “strange questions” concerning her personal life.She said that she ignored his behaviour for two reasons; because she knew him for a while and he never behaved in such a disrespectful manner before;, and because he was under the influence of alcohol.The perpetrator, who works for “One Love Taxi Service,” had numerous brushes with the law, and was always in ‘police matters’.The woman said that some time last April the accused was in some “problems” that resulted in his car being parked in the Plaisance Police Station compound. She said that he needed $27,000 in order to “bail” his car out.The accused borrowed the required amount from the victim.According to the woman, after church on April 19, she received a call from the perpetrator stating that she should walk out and meet him at Vryheid’s Lust Road.When she entered in the back seat of the car, she placed the money he had asked for next to him; he then collected the money and placed it in his glove compartment.After driving off, the accused told the woman that he needed to collect something and would drop her home once he was finished.  She said that while in the car she noticed he was driving towards a dead end at the seawalls.He then stopped and jumped in next to her and started rubbing her “legs,” she said. She slapped him and he became furious and aggressive. He then pushed her against the door where she hit her head and became dizzy.
