MIAMI (AP) — Former Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron signed a $15 million, two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins, giving them a possible replacement for Charles Clay.
The Dolphins put a transition tag on Clay last week, but he has since been courted by the Buffalo Bills.
Cameron said Dolphins officials sold him on the chance to play with quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
"They were singing his praises all day today, and it was definitely a big part of my decision," Cameron said.
