Hunt stated that on November 1, while at the East Coast Bus Park, Dover, a nail technician, confronted Thierens, a market vender, about the money owed to her for two barbeque tickets.The court heard that the women had an argument and a fight ensued.When questioned, Dover, in open court, stated that she was previously charged for threatening behaviour.The Prosecution then offered no objections to bail and Magistrate Judy Latchman then instructed both ladies that they would thereby be obligated to pay $100,000 bail.The ladies proceeded to conduct a conversation among themselves.Thierens then informed the magistrate “Your honour, we no longer want to proceed with the matter. We are friends you know.”Magistrate Judy Latchman permitted the ladies to testify that they no longer wanted to offer evidence in the matter, following which she ordered them to pay $5000 each in court costs, before dismissing the matter.
