ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons placed center Peter Konz on injured reserve with a left knee injury on Monday, dealing their another blow to their battered offensive line.
Konz, a second-round pick from Wisconsin in 2012, has made 27 starts at center and right guard.
Konz is Atlanta's fourth starting offensive lineman to suffer a season-ending injury.
Atlanta's patchwork offensive line struggled against Baltimore. Matt Ryan was sacked five times.
Smith said he wouldn't use injuries as an excuse for the team's fourth straight loss.
Scott has 35 career starts with the Lions, Bills, Steelers, and Bears in eight seasons. |
