A plumber was denied his pre-trial liberty when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry charged with four counts of armed robbery.Winston Hinds, a plumber, of 58 Blueberry Hill,Cheap World Cup Jerseys 2018, Wismar, Linden, pleaded not guilty to all four charges when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.The first allegation against Hinds is that he and others, armed with a gun, on November 10, 2013, at McKenzie, Linden, robbed  Clayton Thomas of a quantity of gold jewellery valued $800,000.Particulars of the second charge stated that on February 9, 2015, Hinds, armed with a gun, robbed Marlon Daniels of his back pack and Blackberry cellular phone all totaling $38,500.The third allegation claimed that on February 17, 2015, at One Mile, Linden, he robbed Indra Campbell of a cell phone valued $100,000 along $400,000 cash.Finally, the court alleged that Hinds together with others, on the same day at the said location, robbed Hubert Campbell of a $20,000 Blu cellular phone.Hinds was unrepresented by an attorney at yesterday’s hearing.The court was not provided with any facts about what occurred on the day in question.However, Police prosecutor Michael Grant objected to the defendant being released on bail citing the penalty the offence attracts if the defendant is found guilty; and the fact that a firearm was allegedly used to carry out the unlawful act.The prosecutor’s objections were upheld by the magistrate and the defendant was remanded to prison until March 17.The matter was transferred to the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
