Residents reportedly assisted Cumberbatch’s wife in taking him to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where he died shortly after.Jacqueline Cumberbatch, the slain policeman’s mother, was unable to say if her son had a dispute with anyone.But she alleged that a man fitting the killer’s description was seen in the area several times during the day and that the individual had been asking residents about the whereabouts of ‘Quacy.’She told Kaieteur News that a female relative and a male companion had lived at the family’s house, but moved out some time ago.
