That line-up includes twin brothers Sean and Shurland James, Marcia Desantos, and the Telford sisters.Other designs to be showcased will come from Candace Martindale,Adidas NHL Jerseys China, Lori Ann Jacobs, Shudell Burch-Smith and Sonia Noel. Some carol singing and Christmas-centred dance showcases are also on the cards. It is an invitation-only event but fashion enthusiasts will have access to the show by winning passes from internet, television and radio promotions. The brainchild of Noel, she says this year’s event is focused on raising enough funds to make a senior citizen’s home “more comfortable because seniors have contributed to our society and without them we wouldn’t be here”.The event will also be used to launch Noel’s ‘Silhouette’ – a boutique that will offer a one-stop shop for collections from Guyana Fashion Weekend designers. She said her focus will incorporate plus sizes and gents clothing as she continues plans for the next season of Guyana Model Search/Style Designers portfolio.
