NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Saints placed starting rookie receiver Brandin Cooks and starting free safety Rafael Bush on injured reserve on Tuesday, ending their seasons as the club's race to win the NFC South enters its final six weeks.
He is second on the Saints in catches with 53 and yards receiving with 550, to go with three touchdown receptions this season. He has also rushed seven times for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Bush's injury occurred when he raced toward the line of scrimmage to help tackle Cincinnati's Jeremy Hill on a running play.
