At this time some other boys who were working on another house came to my rescue,” Baker explained.Another who just gave his name as “Busey” said that he was at home when his neighbour called out to him telling him that some boys were being beaten by a group of men.He said that as he looked out he saw the commotion and went out to find out what was happening.There, he saw one of the men with a gun and another with a knife using “racial slurs” and threatening to kill the men.An argument ensued which led to a scuffle by which time the police arrived.Kaieteur News managed to speak to the young men’s boss and the foreman of the worksite, Richard Parris.Parris noted that the four teenagers worked with him and were good workers.He said that the four boys left the worksite about noon to purchase their lunch but after the lunch time had elapsed, a guard who is attached to the worksite informed him about the incident.“I immediately left and went to the shop but in the vicinity of Bladen Hall School, he noticed one of the teenagers lying on the ground with his hands tied up behind his back. He was bleeding from his head,” Parris added.By then, the police arrived on the scene and took them to the Buxton Health Centre where they were treated and taken to the police station.He opined that it was almost impossible for the boys to leave his worksite, get weapons and go rob that shop.Coretta Paul, Mark Luster’s mother, said that she needs justice for her son. She displayed a piece of wood that was reportedly used to beat her son and two others.
