The police have arrested hire car driver,Joakim Nordstrom Jersey, Ameer Ali,Antti Niemi Jersey, 30, of 30 Edinburgh,Brent Seabrook Jersey, East Bank Demerara for colliding with pedal cyclist Gary Haynes around 13:40 hrs on Tuesday on Main Street, New Amsterdam.At the time of the accident, Ali was at the wheels of motor car HB3717 which struck Haynes while he was a stones throw from the Central Police Station, New Amsterdam. Kaieteur News understands that the car was being driven at a fast rate in a southerly direction when it collided with Haynes who was attempting to cross the road.
