A businessman accused of coveting over $6M in car parts from eight vehicles entrusted to him for servicing, was granted bail to the tune of $800,000 by a senior city Magistrate yesterday.Ramchan Mohara, 30,Jordan Sneakers For Sale, of Lot 477 ‘B’ Field, Sophia,Buy Air Max 1, Greater Georgetown, faced eight counts of fraudulent conversion when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.The court heard that between November 1 and November 30, 2012 at Georgetown, Mohara was entrusted by Mohammed Ali with motor cars bearing registration numbers HB3684, HB1966,Womens Nike Air Max 270 Coral Stardust Shoes, HB3684, HB6614, HB5265,2018 Nike Air Max 98, HB8371,Air Max 97 Undefeated Green, HB4091 and HB4727 to service and return.According to the charge, the bodywork shop owner fraudulently converted several sets of car parts amounting to $800,000 from each vehicle to his own use and benefit.The parts listed included transmissions, electric compressors, bumpers and air-conditioning unit. Mohara denied the allegations, however, and submitted an application for bail through his lawyer, Peter Hugh. Police Prosecutor, Inspector Michael Grant explained to the court that advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) was only returned on January 19, last hence, Mohara only faced the court yesterday.Making an application for bail, Hugh said that his client, who does not have a passport,Jordan Shoes For Sale Cheap, is not a flight-risk. Mohara, he said, is a married man with two children, aged 10 and one. His application was not objected to by the Prosecutor who said that investigations are completed.The court heard that Mohara was previously charged with fraudulent imitation of an identification mark. The Chief Magistrate granted $100,000 bail on each charge or surety and ordered the prosecution to file statements. The case will be called again on February 27.
