He assured the Magistrate that Browne and Reece will attend all court hearings to prove their innocence.In this regard, the lawyer explained to the Magistrate that his clients had been reporting to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) periodically as investigations were being carried out. He added that during the investigations, they were released on bail.Further, Gilhuys told the court that the alleged killing came about as a result of a disorderly brawl. He added that his clients never touched Marks, who he said was beaten by public spirited citizens.The Attorney underscored that he intends to call several witnesses to secure a solid defence for Browne and Charles.Gilhuys’ bail application was met with objections by Police Prosecutor, Corporal, Deniro Jones. Jones objected to pre-trial liberty for the duo pointing out the gravity of the charge and penalty attached to the offence.The Prosecutor expressed concern that the accused might not return to court for trial, now that they have been charged. In addition, he also presented the facts of the matter to the court.Jones informed that on January 4,Cheap Devils Jerseys, last, at about 17:30hrs, Reece secured her shop and went out with Browne. He said that when the woman returned she noticed that her shop was broken into and the now deceased Marks was seen next to the shop armed with a piece of wood.He added that Browne and Reece, along with a mob armed themselves with cutlasses and inflicted injuries on Marks.According to the Prosecutor, to evade the beating, Marks plunged into the Mazaruni River, from which he was fished out four days later.The Police in a release had said that David Marks was allegedly seen breaking and entering a shop at Papi Show, Landing Mazaruni,Nike Air Max 1 Mens Trainers, when he was confronted by residents.
