The prosecution objected to bail citing the seriousness and prevalence of the offence.The defendant was represented by attorney at law Nigel Hughes, who informed the court that his client is a former member of the media, and on the day the incident occurred,Cheap MLB Pro Shop, it was Williams who went to the Kitty Police Station and reported on the accident.Hughes stated that the seriousness of the offence is not one which should oppose bail; he avowed that his client is a holder of a Republic of Guyana passport and is willing to surrender his passport should bail be granted.Bail was granted in the sum of $350,000 for the charge of dangerous driving causing death and $50,000 for the DUI charge. Williams is expected to make his next court appearance on July 20. |
