The incident occurred at kaimu (a shop in the mining community) around 05:00 hours that day.He said that his asking for monies owed resulted in English brandishing a gun and using it to slap him to the face. He later sought medical attention at the Charity Public Hospital.According to him, he had lodged a report with the police at the Charity Police Station but had received no word from ranks there regarding the matter.Much to his surprise, the porkknocker said on Thursday, last around 16:00 hours a party of policemen and the owner of the mining camp pulled up at his house, claiming that he had burgled the man’s interior shop and made off with a hefty loot.He is denying this claim stating that “something fishy” is afoot.
