Buckets with filters will be distributed to the drought- affected communities in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo) by the Civil Defence Commission (CDC).This intervention has been made possible through the United States Embassy’s Security Cooperation Office in collaboration with Waves 4 Water, a US based non-profit organisation.At a demonstration exercise on the use of the filters at the CDC on Tuesday, the agency’s Director General, Col.
