There has been an alarming increase in the number of incidents of vehicles being broken into outside the National Park.One such break-in happened Tuesday afternoon just outside of the main gate at the National Park, along Thomas Lands. The victims were a local reporter and a public relations officer from a reputable company.Thieves carted off a substantial amount of valuables after breaking into the vehicle while the two were inside of the park.They were in the National Park for no more than an hour and upon their return were greeted by the sight of the vandalized vehicle. “The glass was shattered,Wes Unseld Wizards Jersey, bags were missing; every single valuable thing was gone.”A call was immediately placed to the police who promptly responded.The victims related the facts of what had transpired and were advised to go to the nearest police station which was the Alberttown Station.While at the station the rank that recorded the incident admitted that “every two or three” days people would come to report breakages to their vehicles.The rank said that there were police officers who would normally patrol the area but they were reassigned. One senior police official said that the situation at the National Park has been plaguing vehicle owners for some time.
