A night of reflections is scheduled to be held in honour of the late Dr Faith Harding. The event which is organized by the Caribbean Voice, CPIC Monique’s Caring Hands and Caribbean American Domestic Violence Awareness (CADVA),Sac �� Dos Kanken 16l, will be held today at 18:00 hours at the Essequibo Suite of the Pegasus Hotel, Kingston.The late Dr Faith HardingDr. Harding passed away last month at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a period of illness.She was a former Government Minister, Educator,Stitched Nike NFL Jerseys, Women’s Rights Activist,Corey Brewer Jersey, Psychotherapist and Community worker.Her work extended beyond these shores as she also worked as a past Consultant for the World Bank and United Nations (UN), being instrumental in the formation of the world’s newest nation, South Sudan,Wholesale Authentic Jerseys, back in 2008, during her work with the UN.She was the holder of a Bachelor of Education Degree; two Master’s Degrees,Brad Kaaya Jersey, one in Arts & Curriculum and the other in Education, and a PhD.Dr. Harding was also a qualified Psychotherapist having done extensive work on the human brain.She was also a board member of The Caribbean Voice and the Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association, among other organizations, and was also associated with many other Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) s, including CADVA and Monique’s Caring Hands.Her work on the social landscape included a private, free clinic that provided counseling services for children and families infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic,Cheap MLB Gear, runaway youth,Cheap Baseball Jerseys Authentic, male and female victims of domestic violence as well as young victims of sexual abuse.As such, tonight’s event is aimed at reflecting on Dr. Harding from an NGO perspective and discussions about continuing her work and legacy. There will be tributes from non-governmental organizations and local entities with which she was associated as well as individuals whose lives she impacted.The night of reflection is open to the public and members of the audience would be provided with an open microphone to share their thoughts of and experiences with the late doctor. |
