A man is currently under police guard at the West Demerara Regional Hospital after he was shot by police, minutes after stabbing his brother to death and attempting to flee.Reports are that 49-year-old Royston Peters of La Grange Old Road, West Bank Demerara,Jim Thome Indians Jersey, was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital sometime around 17:00 hours yesterday.
