Asif Mohamed yesterday appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to answer to the charge of simple larceny.He told the court that he was guilty of the charge.Mohamed was unrepresented. But Mohamed opted to remain quiet.The court was also told that the accused was sentenced to eighteen months in 2005 for the offence of simple larceny.
