“We have come a long way from the George potato image…” – Reverent John Smith Ranks of the Guyana Police Force yesterday assembled at the Police Headquarters,Wholesale Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys, Eve Leary to celebrate its 174th anniversary with its traditional Drum Head Service.The event which was held at the Police Headquarters,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, Eve Leary featured prayers from the three major religions in Guyana. Among the renditions was the world renowned hit “We are the world”.In his message to the “congregation” Rev. He urged them to always wear their uniform and badges with pride.The Drum Head Service coincided with the birthday of the Commissioner’s wife.On Sunday the Guyana Police Force held a fitness walk which proceeded along the Rupert Craig highway and ended at the Police headquarters in Eve Leary.Senior ranks of the Guyana Police Force including the Commissioner of Police Leroy Brumell led the ranks on the fitness walk.The walk which started around 5:00 am attracted over 200 ranks dressed in their physical fitness attire. Many officers of the force performed a number of exercise routines along the route. |
