A young man was granted bail in the sum of $5000 after he made an appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court yesterday.The charge brought against Kevin Akeem 20,Baltimore Orioles Eddie Murray Jersey, is that on February 15 at Stabroek Market fish pond he unlawfully and maliciously damaged stall number 20 valued at $20,Chicago Cubs Ernie Banks Jersey,000,New York Mets Gary Carter Jersey, property of Ashley Khan.Akeem who resides at Lot 22 Murphy Street,St. Louis Cardinals Orlando Cepeda Jersey, Wales,Texas Rangers Delino DeShields Jersey, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara pleaded guilty to the charge after it was read to him by Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond.The prosecution’s facts stated that Akeem would normally sell fish with the virtual complainant (VC) at the Stabroek Market fish pond. The court was told that on the day of the incident the defendant threw away a tray containing fish and a few boards along with two bricks that were supporting the fish tray.Khan then visited the Stabroek Police Outpost and reported the matter and the accused was arrested and charged with the offence.Based on the prosecution’s facts,St. Louis Cardinals Jedd Gyorko Jersey, the Magistrate entered a not guilty plea for the man.The father of one will return to court on February 26. |
