The car stopped at a house at Edinburgh where the men got off.Police were informed and quickly descended on the house at Edinburgh where the four men were caught inside having fun and using drugs.They were captured and taken into custody. The police acting on further information swooped down on the getaway cars and arrested the drivers.It is understood that one of the cars, PPP 3149 was rented from a car rental agency in Berbice, while the hire car HB 8647 is said to operate in the Corentyne area.Two of the bandits are said to be from Edinburgh, one from Albion, Corentyne and one from The East Canje area.It is also understood that the two drivers hail from Corentyne, one from Fyrish and the other from Albion.The house in which the suspected bandits were found was well furnished and police recovered a quantity of articles which are said to be stolen.Investigations are continuing and persons who were robbed are expected to identify items stolen, charges are likely shortly.
