People who were working at the State House as carpenters nearly carted off a quantity of liquor belonging to the President. They committed the act on Monday last.“We took the rum after we find it between some empty bottles,” were the words of 41-year-old Alim Gafoor, of Uitvlugt Pasture,Lance Parrish Orioles Jersey, and Amasa Nagaper, 37,Fred Lynn Red Sox Jersey, of Leonora Pasture.The two pleaded guilty to stealing a quantity of liquor worth $18,Ike Davis Rangers Jersey,500,Enrique Hernandez Dodgers Jersey, property of State House, Guyana, when they appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson yesterday.Their attorney told the court that neither Gafoor nor Nagaper had any previous convictions, and that they were throwing themselves at the mercy of the law.
