Neighbour overheard dispute between accused and his father  A neighbour of the Stewartville, West Coast Demerara, (WCD) businessman, who is on trial for killing his father,Ryne Sandberg Cubs Jersey, has testified that she heard noises which sounded like cries coming from next door the night  her elderly neighbour, allegedly met his demise.Bramanand Singh, called Dharmendra or Daro, a goldsmith from Lot 57 Middle Street, Stewartville, West Coast Demerara was charged for the unlawful killing of his father, Manseh Singh,Los Angeles Dodgers Kirk Gibson Jersey, in January 2005.He is currently facing trial for manslaughter before Justice Roxanne George-Wiltshire at the High Court in Georgetown.According to the allegation, Singh inflicted injuries to his father which resulted in his death sometime between January 27 and 28,John Lackey Cubs Jersey, 2005 at their Stewartville, West Coast Demerara residence. Singh is currently on $50,000 bail.Last week, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge at the commencement of his trial before Justice George and a mixed jury.Attorney–at –Law Sonia Parag is providing legal representation to the accused. Attorneys–at-Law Shawnette Austin, Stacy Gooding and Diana Kaulesar are presenting the case.On Friday, Savita Christmah, who lives next door to the Singhs recalled that she was at home when she heard what sounded like the voice of her elderly neighbour yelling, “Ow son nah beat me” and another voice, she perceived to be his son, Dharmendra inquiring about a ring.The woman said that she did not know exactly who was involved in the confrontation since the place was dark and she could not have seen anything.Under cross examination by Attorney-at-Law Sonia Parag,Artemi Panarin Jersey, the witness held out that she had an accurate and precise recollection of the event.Christmah maintained that she did not neglect to tell the court anything. The woman noted that she could have even recalled what she cooked for dinner that day.The Attorney pointed out to the witness that this was some 10 years ago but the witness maintained her story.She told the court that she had cooked squash and chicken with roti for dinner that day.Former Police Sergeant Yvonne Manget, also testified.  Manget told the court that she is a friend of Christmah’s and that she was at her friend’s residence,Matt Carpenter Cardinals Jersey, when the incident is alleged to have occurred.Manget’s testimony’s mirrored what Christmah had previously told the court.  However, the former police officer told the court that when she heard the cries and the argument,Mike Gartner Rangers Jersey, she did not intervene because her friend advised against it.Yesterday, Government Pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh testified. He told the court that the victim died as a result of a ruptured spleen and liver due to multiple blunt trauma to the abdomen.Last week, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (ASP), Joel David,Eddie Lacy Packers Jersey, previously read the caution statement taken from Singh, aloud to the court.According to the Caution Statement,Robert Woods College Jersey, (CS) which was admitted into the trial, the accused had related that he had an altercation with his father who had stolen a gold ring about two to three days before the incident.
