Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday refused to grant bail to a man who has been charged with buggery.The accused, 27-year-old Cheddi Seepaul, of First Street, Campbellville,Terry Sawchuk Red Wings Jersey, made his appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. It is alleged that on Saturday, September 13, Seepaul indecently assaulted a 20-year-old female.It is further alleged that, on the same day,Brett Anderson Dodgers Jersey, he also buggered the same female. Seepaul pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was represented by defence counsel Adrian Thompson.Despite Thompson making a bail application on his client’s behalf, bail was refused. Seepaul is expected to make his next court appearance on September 29.Meanwhile, Magistrate Robertson-Ogle also remanded a Bartica resident charged with indecent assault.It is alleged that on September 11, at 7th Avenue,Joakim Nordstrom Jersey, Bartica, James Lindor indecently assaulted a minor who is a close relative of his. The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charge. The 44-year-old carpenter was unrepresented.In his own defence, he told the court that,Mark McGwire Cardinals Jersey, on the day in question,Cheap Purdue Boilermakers Jerseys, he was consuming alcohol with some friends.Lindor added that,Jorge Torres Nilo Mexico Jersey, later the same day,Kevin Durant Texas Jersey, he went home, had a meal with his family, and retired to bed. He claims he cannot recall what else transpired on that day.The prosecutor’s request that bail be refused was granted by the court.
