A new Regional Chairman will soon take office in Region Six (East Berbice- Corentyne). Kaieteur News has learnt from very reliable sources that Mr Permaul ‘David’ Armogan has been tipped for the position. When contacted on Monday,Wayne Gretzky Rangers Jersey, outgoing Regional Chairman, Mr Zulfikar Mustapha,Rob Scuderi Penguins Jersey, stated that the new Regional Democratic Council (RDC),Justin Peters Capitals Jersey, will vote when it reconvenes later this month and a new Chairman will be elected.Mr David ArmoganHe said that Mr Armogan has been tipped for the position.Mustapha,Guy Lapointe Canadiens Jersey, during the RDC’s Annual Press Conference held in late December did hint that he would be demitting office shortly even though he stated that he was “offered” to stay on by the President.“I am still considering, because my view is that we should not be in a position for too long….and I feel an honour to continue but I am still considering to see what is my next step. And the [majority of the] residents of Region Six are calling on me to serve again.
