After a £1M project to refurbish Brixton’s Electric Avenue,DeShone Kizer Notre Dame Jersey, England, Guyanese-born artiste Eddy Grant is slated to switch on the new illuminated sign marking the completion of the project.The Avenue got its name as it was the first street in the United Kingdom to be illuminated by electric light.
