A Corentyne woman is seeking compensation to the tune of $5M from prominent Berbice lawyer, Murseline Bacchus. Bacchus was not prosecuted for the witness tampering charge.”He added that his client said that she spent a lot of money for what Mr. Bacchus did to her and she went to the Legal Practitioners’’ Committee.Samaroo, he stated, was a major witness in the murder trial “and for the Defense Attorney to even speak to her, asking her date of birth even—is unethical and could be deemed witness tampering.
