He was sentenced to jail even though he tried to justify his actions before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.Police Prosecutor, Deniro Jones, told the court that on the day in question, Joseph was being escorted to court by a Police Constable when he escaped. He said that Joseph began to behave disorderly and assaulted the cop. According to the Prosecutor, the man managed to remove his handcuffs.
