Members of the local Nyabhingi Order of Guyana have returned from neighbouring Suriname following the acceptance of an invitation by the Federation of Africans in Suriname to partake in Black History Month celebrations.The primary objective of the group however was to deliver the message of what the Nyabhingi Order is,Artem Anisimov Jersey, the way of life,Thomas Vanek Jersey, its statutes and more so,Shayne Gostisbehere Team North America Jersey, to play a critical role in the formal birth of that movement in Suriname this year.Members of the local Nyahbhingi Order during one of their many community programmes This was revealed by Ras Binghi Thrug and Ras Adis who following their return to Guyana recently updated local media operatives on what transpired on their trip.The duo related that there was the hosting of the,Matt Murray Team North America Jersey, “Feast of the Nativity of the Christ Celebration,” which the Guyanese partook in, given that several members from Suriname had travelled to Guyana during Carifesta X  and spent some time,Scott Gomez Jersey, and the local faction responded in kind this year by travelling to that country.Also considered in accepting the invitation was the fact that the House of Nyahbinghi in Guyana is now 13 years old.The event in Suriname saw the participation of a delegation of 27 which included one Jamaican and two visiting from Trinidad & Tobago,Teuvo Teravainen Jersey, all of whom traveled to Suriname through Moleson Creek to Nickerie by ferry, with added transportation provided from Nickerie to Paramaribo which was coordinated by The Federation of African Surinamese and the Nyahbinghi Brethren of Suriname.Upon arriving in Paramaribo, the delegation was taken to Freeman Grounds and given a grand welcome.The delegates from Guyana and the Surinamese members hosted a joint press conference which was also attended by the Director of Culture of Suriname, a representative from the Ministry of Education,John Gibson Team North America Jersey, religious and other African Cultural representatives.Following that meeting, the delegation then proceeded to Mongo where the first Tabernacle was built in Suriname, through the coordinated effort of,CM Punk Jersey, “brethren and sistren” from the Guianas.There was also three nights of, “harping (drumming), chanting and reasoning,David Rundblad Jersey,” and the elders unveiled the guidelines and elected the guardians of the Tabernacle which was described as fundamental in upholding the Divine Order of Nyahbinghi there.The gathering of members of the Guianas agreed to work together towards the betterment and upliftment of the Rastafari community within the three nations.
