Singing sensation Terry Gajraj, through the “SAVE ABEE” foundation, is assisting with the development of a playground and other facilities at the Shaheed Girls Orphanages,Len Bias Maryland Jersey, Oleander Gardens, East Coast Demerara.SAVE ABEE, is a non-profit organization registered in the United States of America. It is in the process of obtaining a non-profit status in Guyana and Canada.Gajraj said that in order to fulfill and continue the dream, the NGO needs everyone to come together and contribute to children’s development.He explained that a playground with floodlights and developed structure will be constructed at the girls’ orphanage to assist with their extracurricular activities.Gajraj said that the foundation is set-up based on the principle of giving the children of Guyana the skills required to operate in society. The entire concept started several years ago but funding was prioritized based on the needs of the children.“Over the past two years the board made two important decisions that were costly. Firstly, we brought in our own bus for the children.
