Nineteen university students, a lecturer and the CSME focal point from Trinidad and Tobago,Dustin Tokarski Canadiens Jersey, will be visiting Guyana next week to identify career possibilities within the CARICOM Single Market and Economy.This is according to a statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry released yesterday. The statement indicated that the team will be visiting Guyana between November 22 and November 28 as part of a project being conducted by the CARICOM Secretariat with funding provided by the 10th European Development Fund CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME Economic Integration Programme).It stated that the delegation will visit a number of agencies and interact with public and private sector officials so as to attain hands on experience that will facilitate their ability to identify career possibilities within the CSME.They are expected to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Business,Andrew Shaw Canadiens Jersey, Guyana Revenue Authority,Chris Kunitz Penguins Jersey, Guyana Police Force,Wayne Gretzky Rangers Jersey, Immigration Department,Phil Esposito Rangers Jersey, New Guyana Marketing Cooperation,Johan Franzen Red Wings Jersey, Guyana Rice Board, Bank of Guyana,Dylan Larkin Red Wings Jersey, the Private Sector Commission, Grace Kennedy Guyana Limited,Ron Duguay Rangers Jersey, DIGICEL and Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited.The week long exercise will conclude with a closing ceremony scheduled for November 27 at the Guyana Pegasus Hotel.Recently, Guyana profited from a similar exercise during the week of October 11-17,Mats Naslund Canadiens Jersey, where students from the University of Guyana travelled to Antigua and Barbuda to engage officials from the member state. |
