The young man who seemed still in disbelieve at the time of this newspaper’s visit said that he was more worried about the impact of the fire would have on his ailing mother.Neighbours said that the building could have been saved if the fire tenders had arrived earlier. They however acknowledged the fact that the fire tenders had a long journey to travel to the site. And the effort to extinguish the fire before the fire tender arrived was in vain since there was no main canal in the area.However the fire Service was able to save a building which was very close to the burning building. The matter has since been reported and investigations are ongoing.
