Once Randy Moss' exit from Minnesota becomes official -- and coach Brad Childress made it clear Monday night that is the team's intention -- his services will be sought. However, after his outburst that led to his trade to Minnesota out of New England and his rant that spurred his awkward departure from the Vikings,Nike Air Max 90 Outlet Italia, who will want him,New Balance 574, at least badly enough to put in a waiver claim? He's worked his way out from under two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks -- the Patriots' Tom Brady and the Vikings' Brett Favre. You know the Colts and Saints won't touch him,Nike Lunarglide Sale UK, so eliminate two more standout quarterbacks who can help him resurrect his career,Adidas Stan Smith Donna, and what do you have? More on Moss NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reports that four teams have discussed the possibility of putting in a waiver claim for Randy Moss. More ... » Vikings WR Harvin stands to lose the most » Where could Moss land? » Vikings fans react There are a handful of teams that might opt to claim him and the remainder of his $6.4 million salary, with the Redskins, Seahawks,Nike Flyknit Lunar 2, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jets and Patriots -- yes, New England -- as teams that could be in play. The Rams also need wide receivers but for them to bring Moss into a harmonious locker room that might not have the veteran leadership to absorb his broodiness and Braveheart-type leadership would seem like a reach. Same for Tampa Bay. Both young teams have good things going and Moss' potential on the field might not be worth his potential disruption off it. That said,Nike Free 3.0 V4 Mens, from players I've spoken to, Moss is generally liked by teammates. Seattle has made plays for then-Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall and Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson and needs a larger vertical threat like Moss. But this is another team that might not have the personalities that can sustain Moss' presence. The Redskins are 15th this week on the waiver-wire claim chart, and could be the first team to make a move. Star power is beloved by Redskins owner Daniel Snyder and coach Mike Shanahan needs playmakers. But Shanahan just fueled potential problems by benching quarterback Donovan McNabb against Detroit, so adding Moss to the McNabb and Albert Haynesworth drama might put things over the top in D.C. It's not easy seeing him ending up in run-heavy Miami alongside Marshall. Moss would be a nice addition to Marshall and Davone Bess, but coach Tony Sparano isn't big on personality-driven players. Marshall might be enough. See a trend here? So that leaves,Nike Air Huarache Espa?a, once again,MENS NIKE AIR MAX 1 SHOES BLACK WHITE GREEN, the Jets and Patriots -- the two front-runners in my opinion. By virtue of having a worse record,Nike Blazer Alte Uomo, the Jets would get priority on a waiver claim and get the chance to have Moss and cornerback Darrelle Revis settle their feud in practice every day. The Jets also would keep him away from the Patriots, who might not be too worried. They've had Moss and dealt him away for a third-round draft pick and are 3-0 without him. Bringing him back to new England wouldn't hurt, since he was actually well liked by a lot of his teammates there. Plus, they know he'd behave and fit a need. Follow Steve Wyche on Twitter @wyche89. |
