Tappin noted that residents are very fearful that the situation could become worse if left unattended.According to her, since the tree species is so large residents are literally unable to do anything to address the situation they are faced with. Tappin said that since early last year multiple letters were sent to the City Council requesting assistance to maintain the tree. To date there has been no response, she claimed.“This is hazardous and need the attention of the Council, urgently, since it directly affects the very lives of persons living in its proximity.”
