The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) and Government of Guyana will be staging the annual tribute to former President of Guyana and founder/Leader of the PPP,Clay Matthews Packers Jersey, Dr. Cheddi Jagan today at Babu John, Port Mourant, Corentyne.Among the speakers planned for the event are President Donald Ramotar; Prime Minister Samuel Hinds; PPP General Secretary, Clement Rohee and former President, Bharrat Jagdeo.Dr. Jagan served as Guyana’s fourth President from 1992, after the General and Regional Elections. He died after a period of illness on March 6,Joe Greene Steelers Jersey, 1997 in the USA.The programme which commences at 14:30 hrs will be preceded by the wreath- laying ceremony at the Babu John Memorial Site. The programme will be punctuated with several cultural items, according to organizer, Dr. Vishwa Mahadeo.The winners of the Schools’ Cheddi Jagan Memorial Essay Competition will be awarded their cash and other prizes during the programme.
