Two brothers were yesterday granted $100,000 bail each,R.A. Dickey Jersey, by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on a charge of wounding their brother-in-law.The two brothers Ivor and Richard at courtIvor Emanuel,Cameron Maybin Jersey, 33 and Richard Emanuel,Atlanta Braves Kurt Suzuki Jersey, 41,Arizona Diamondbacks Gregor Blanco Jersey, both of Long Creek Soesdyke/Linden Highway were charged with unlawful wounding.It is alleged that on December 26, at Long Creek, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, the two unlawfully and maliciously wounded Sherland Henry. They pleaded not guilty to the charge and were both represented by attorney at law Mohamed Zafar.Zafar, in a bail application for his clients, said that Henry is married to his clients’ sister. He also said that Henry stabbed his client,Detroit Tigers Alex Avila Jersey, Ivor, several times with a knife.Zafar explained that Henry was staying at Ivor’s home and they had an argument which resulted in Ivor asking Henry to remove from his premises.He added that during the confrontation a fight broke out and his client,Jeff Locke Jersey, Ivor Emanuel,Tampa Bay Rays Colby Rasmus Jersey, in self-defense,Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Bud Norris Jersey, wounded Henry after receiving wounds himself. Zafar added that the police have refused to take statements from his clients.Police prosecutor Stephen Telford,San Diego Padres Jhoulys Chacin Jersey, who had no objections to bail, stated that contrary to what was said by the attorney, the brothers refused to give any statements to the police. He added that it was the police who took the defendant to the hospital to get medical treatment.The magistrate then granted the two their bail and transferred the matter to Providence Magistrate’s Court where they are scheduled to appear on January 12. |
