The Mori J’von Comedy Jam will debut today at the Theatre Guild with an audition to find Guyana’s hottest young comedians. Titled “Got Jokes – Talk to these Folks” the brainchild of Ron Morrison and his wife, Olive Gopaul, the event brings together the leading professional comedians.That line up includes  Habeeb Khan,NFL Jerseys Cheap, Henry Rodney,NFL Jerseys China, Howard Lorrimer,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, Godfrey Naughton,Cheap NFL Jerseys China, Linden “Jumbie” Jones,Jerseys NFL Wholesale, Miranda Austin,Nike NFL Jerseys China, Rajan Tiwari, Sherri Ann Dyal, Basil Bradshaw and Michael Ignatius who will all be ensuring that this new programme becomes a Guyanese staple that all can be proud of.It is a combination of stage and TV shows aimed at taking Guyana’s comedy to the next level. This is the first time that all these talents have come together and the first time that a team will be actively involved in writing on a regular basis to produce an entire season of programmes for local and international audiences.Comedy has proven to be one of the most appreciated forms of entertainment and this series of shows will showcase stand-up comedians,Cheap NFL Jerseys, comedy sketches,Jerseys NFL Cheap, ventriloquists, song and dance with a comedic twist and satire.There will be a special emphasis on the involvement of young talent with ongoing training and opportunity for performance with the older hands passing on their skills and experience to the new generation and working with them as part of the writing and performance pool.The audition will be filmed and portions will be used for the TV programming that will follow.The inaugural show will be a gala evening at the National Cultural Centre that will honour the contribution of Habeeb Khan to the local comedy scene and will be held on Saturday November 28 2009.
