GWI will be working in collaboration with the municipality, the police and other stakeholders to ensure that there is minimum disruption.Browne said that included in the entire sewer upgrade is the purchase of a $72 Million Hi-Vac Truck Mounted Aquatech Vacuum Cleaner which is a “Supersucker” vacuum bought to enhance the cleaning system. The truck was bought by the Government through the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).GWI Sanitation Manager, Rensford Joseph, said that the television, print media and the radio will be used to highlight where works are going to be done to assist persons in knowing which roads will be temporarily disrupted.
