A review of Churaumanie Bissundyal’s Dissertation BookBy Balkrishna Naipaul Churaumanie Bissundyal’s Modern Western Fiction and Sanskrit Aesthetics and Theory: A Search for a Postcolonial Concept is the second part of his doctoral dissertation, which strives to locate a postcolonial concept “Liberal Creativity.” It discusses such literary areas as the “pine tree outline” and “cell structure” of the modern novel to exploit plot, characterization, dialogue, modes, setting and theme to find fresh essences in writing such as “Narrative Symbology,” “Descriptive Symbology,” Units of Time,” Fictional Dream” and “Phenomenal Realism.”Moreover, it vacillates between a mixed paradigm of the humanities and social scientific methodology, answering the research question —”What approach should the author take to search through a wilderness of aesthetics, craft, style,Vic Beasley Jr Falcons Jersey, theory and philosophy to seek a postcolonial concept that will give him faith, strength, sanctuary and direction in his creative pursuits”—in a design as follows: (i) Chapter 1—Introduction (ii) Chapter II—Review of Literature (Literary Theory and Philosophy), (iii) Chapter III—Application (Aesthetics, Craft,John Hannah Patriots Jersey, Style and Postcolonial Concept) and (iv) Summary and Recommendations.The author compares his fiction-writing approach with those of other writers such as D.H. He has completed six novels, five books of poems, four screenplays, one soap opera, and ten plays. In 1988, his play From Ganges to Demerary was staged at Samuell Beckett’s Theatre, York University,Atlanta Falcons Jersey, Toronto,Tedy Bruschi Patriots Jersey, Canada. D. degree in Philosophy from Union.Balkrishna Naipaul, the cousin of Vidia (V.S.) Naipaul, is a renowned Caribbean novelist, completing seven novels and winning the prestigious Sahityamani Award. He also won the Lifetime Literary Achievement Award of the Business Forum.
