Troy Easton, 25,Franco Harris Steelers Jersey, of 3800 Beaver Street,Julius Peppers Packers Jersey, North Ruimveldt,Julio Jones Falcons Jersey, was yesterday remanded to prison after he appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. He was charged with stealing one bicycle, valued at $14,000,Ra Shede Hageman Falcons Jersey, from Roger Hinds on September 17 last.The accused, who pleaded not guilty, told the acting Chief Magistrate that he works at the Gafoor’s Huston Complex as a bond clerk.Ms Robertson asked Hinds if he had anything to say,Jordy Nelson Packers Jersey, and the man said he was at an Internet café,Stephen Gostkowski Patriots Jersey, where he left his bicycle outside. When he came back out, he said,Mel Blount Steelers Jersey, eyewitnesses said that “Troy” had taken his bike.He further told the court that he made a report at the Kitty Police Station,Dave Robinson Packers Jersey, and the following night ranks at the station called him to inform him that they had the accused in custody. Police prosecutor Sherwin Matthews said that bail should be denied, because Easton does not have a fixed place of abode and he gave the police different names when he was arrested.The prosecutor further said that bail should be denied,Jack Lambert Steelers Jersey, because Easton had resisted lawful arrest, and that he has other matters before the courts. Easton is scheduled to make his next court appearance on Monday. |
