Presenting the state’s case is Attorney-at-Law Judith Gildarie Mursaline.Taking the witness stand were Detective Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gary Mc Alister; Detective Corporal Andrew Ward and Detective Sergeant Gilbert Ross who is continuing on the witness stand.  He is being cross examined by Defence Attorneys Rajkumar and Edmonson.The men who were led in their evidence by Prosecutrix Gildarie-Mursaline outlined the parts they played in the evidence.After receiving certain information pertaining to the shooting death of Collins, the scene was visited.  Investigations were launched and the men were arrested and placed in custody.  Identification parades were subsequently held and Busgith was first identified as one of the men. Another identification parade was subsequently held and Hunte was picked out as another one of the suspects. Hawker had testified to living with her daughter and her children at the Alness residence.A post mortem examination was conducted on the body of Collins by Dr. Vivekanand Brijmohan at the New Amsterdam Hospital who gave the cause of death as shock and haemorrhage, laceration to the heart and liver and gunshot injuries.The case is continuing and the Prosecution is expected to call 10 witnesses.
