Three young gunmen escaped with a small amount of cash after beating the manager of the Mike’s Pharmacy Wholesale Depot on Sheriff Street in a brazen afternoon robbery.The incident occurred despite the heavy police patrols in the busy commercial area.The Sheriff Street Pharmacy that was attacked by bandits yesterday. The bandits then made good their escape before members of a police mobile patrol arrived.The police combed the area and detained two men but they were not identified as the bandits by employees of the establishment.By then the manager was treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital and sent away.Several persons lamented that such an incident could occur despite the announced and visible presence of police patrols.
