Many people are fooled into thinking bullying is only a physical thing. Warner said many persons in Guyana commit suicide because of bullying; however it is not usually portrayed in the media as such.This Warner that is something that needs to be looked at and preventative methods developed.“We can encourage people to be kind to each other. If you have been a bully and you feel you are getting caught up in that position, we can also encourage people to seek counseling.” Warner explainedThe volunteer noted that persons need to look out for one another.Warner said that the GRPA has not done any surveys to ascertain which age groups, ethnicities or even genders are most affect by bullying. However it has been noticed in the many classroom sessions conducted by the organisation,Jack Lambert Steelers Jersey, that the problem of bullying is very prevalent in the school system.It was noted that bullying is also an issue in the workplace. Warner noted that when persons attend counselling sessions at the GRPA they would complain of bosses or colleagues at their workplaces harassing them.
