Premised on the theme “Make Wellness Your Goal,” the Region Three Health and Wellness Club is gearing to have yet another health fair aimed at emphasising the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. The fair is scheduled for Saturday August 15, 2015 between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hours at the Uitvlugt Community Centre Ground, West Coast Demerara, and will see a number of health services being offered to patrons. It was however an offshoot of the Region Three Diabetic Association, which was formed in 2011 to raise awareness in Region Three communities about diabetes.The Club took on the wider mission to educate, support and empower people at a time when the Chikungunya Virus was rampant in many sections of the country including Region Three.
