On an average, 60 persons benefit from the eye clinic every month.There is an appeal for persons who have new or used spectacles to donate them to the New Amsterdam Lion’s Club at Vryman’s Erven. This would assist in sustaining the venture.The New Amsterdam Lion’s Club has an active membership of 21 and spans Mara to New Amsterdam including West Canje.
