A woman whose house suffered extensive damages after a huge palm tree, planted on M&CC reserves, fell on her roof is still to receive compensation for the mishap.She is appealing to the officials of the M&CC to expedite their investigations as she is forced to sleep in an unsecured house.The woman is also seeking compensation for several damaged pieces of cutlery, the cupboard in which they were stored as well as the death of her beloved pet parrot. The incident occurred more than three weeks ago, around 02:30hrs while Rita DaSilva and her spouse were fast asleep.
