Everyday I running at the station,Ty Montgomery Packers Jersey,” Howell told this newspaper. She said that she even made attempts to place a missing person notice on television but was told that she needed the police permission to do so.She said that during a visit to the Brickdam Police Station, an officer made several calls to other stations to ascertain if Hinds was in custody.“The police always leave message; they always keep running for him,Rob Gronkowski Patriots Jersey, arresting him,Artie Burns Steelers Jersey, putting him in the lock-ups for things that he doesn’t know about. They leave message how much times, telling me that they gon kill him,Julian Edelman Patriots Jersey,” Howell told this newspaper. She identified a policeman from the Brickdam and ranks from a police Quick Reaction Squad as the persons who had made threats to kill her reputed husband. This was immediately after the GuySuCo payroll robbery.According to Howell, who is pregnant, Hinds, a father of three was detained about a month after the robbery and was placed on an identification parade but was not picked out.A police source said that Hinds was shot at during the chase of the bandits who had committed the robbery but managed to escape. There are reports that he fled to Suriname shortly after.Howell said that yesterday family members had to stop the authorities from burying the body without their knowledge.“They know I was running to the police for seven days concerning a missing person; why is it that they wanted to bury someone behind my back without even calling me in to find out if he’s the one?” Howell asked.Investigators will now have to determine how Hinds died. The discovery of Hinds’s body is reminiscent of the days of the crime wave when the bodies of several criminal suspects were discovered all over the city and in some cases the backlands of the East Coast of Demerara and the Soesdyke/Linden Highway. |
